About the Agency
Bureau of Boston: a small team with an outsized knowledge of Andalucía's most layered city.

A frank account of the agency — its scope, its method, and the clients it serves best.
Bureau of Boston is a residential and light-commercial property agency based in Granada, Andalucía. We advise buyers, sellers, landlords, and tenants on property transactions and investments within Granada city and the surrounding province. Our work covers four service lines: sales of residential property, long-term rental management, independent property valuation, and strategic consulting for clients building or restructuring a property portfolio. We are not a portal aggregator. We do not republish third-party listings or operate a franchise model. Every property in our portfolio has been visited and assessed by a member of our team — a six-person agency that has operated from the same Calle Recogidas office since 2011. Our clients are typically professionals and families relocating from northern Europe or North America, local buyers who want a quieter, more methodical process than the mainstream market offers, and investors who need accurate local data rather than optimistic projections.
Transparency about our process is the foundation of every client relationship we maintain.
Our intake process begins with a structured brief: we ask about timeline, budget, preferred neighbourhoods, non-negotiable requirements, and — for buyers — mortgage pre-approval status. That information shapes which properties we introduce and in what order. We do not show properties speculatively to fill a viewing calendar. For sales instructions, we conduct our own comparative market analysis before agreeing to a listing price; if our assessment differs significantly from an owner's expectation, we say so at the first meeting rather than agreeing a high price only to reduce it later. There are things Bureau of Boston does not do: we do not manage short-term tourist licences, we do not provide legal or tax advice (we refer clients to independent solicitors and gestorías we trust), and we do not guarantee sale timescales or rental yields — the Granada market, like any property market, is subject to conditions outside any agency's control. What we can guarantee is an honest assessment, a carefully selected set of introductions, and consistent communication from instruction to completion. In fourteen years, over 340 transactions have closed through our office.
“Bureau of Boston told us exactly what they could and could not do before we signed anything. That kind of directness is rare in this market. They valued our Realejo apartment at €40,000 less than a competing agent — and sold it for €8,000 above that figure within three months.”
